Bombay Halwa (Karachi Halwa)

Preparation time: 5 min Cook time:  30 min                                                                     Sweets   Cuisine : Indian Ingredients: Corn flour - 1/2 cup Sugar - 1 1/2 cups Water - 1 1/2 cups + 1/2 cup for syrup Ghee - 2 tbsp Nuts - 1/4 cups (finely chopped Pista, Almond and cashew nut ) Cardamom powder – little Food colour – one drop red colour Preparation In a large bowl, mix corn flour with water and whisk well. Add food color and keep aside. In a pan, dry roast the chopped cashews and keep aside to cool. In a pan, heat 1/2 cup of water and add sugar and boil till the sugar melts. Cook for another few minutes till the water starts getting a little thick. Now start adding the corn flour mixture by stirring continuously in low heat. You will see the mixture turning dark in color and the texture will be looking glossy. Keep stirring till the mixture starts getting thick. Now add 2 tbsp. of ghee and roasted cashews. When the mixt
