Cake

INGREDIENTS 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup granulated sugar 1 cup butter 3 eggs Vanilla essence (optional) 1 tsp. baking powder 2 tbsp. fine sugar for dusting PREPARATION 1. Sift together flour, baking powder and keep it aside. 2. Whisk butter, fined sugar till smooth. Then add eggs          beating well after each addition. 3. Add flour mixture little by little.  Then add vanilla              essence and combine. 4. Spoon the batter into the prepared moulds, dividing          evenly. 5. Preheat oven at 180 OC and then bake it for 15 min. 6. Remove from oven and cool to room temperature 7. Dusting fine sugar on top of the cake.   

Unda kaya(Sweet Bonda)

Preparation time: I hr. 30 min                                                                              Cooking Time :30 min                                                                                        Cuisine: Indian INGREDIENTS Wheat flour-2 cups Banana (small) mashed- 3 nos Jiggery syrup-1/2 cup Baking soda- ¼ tsp Salt –a pinch Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp Ghee-1tbsp  Peanuts-1tbsp  Coconut pieces-1tbsp Oil for frying PREPARATION Fry peanuts and coconuts in ghee and keep it aside. In a bowl, add all the above ingredients except nuts, and make a smooth dough. Keep aside for one hour, after that add the fried nuts. Heat oil in a deep bottom pan, take a small portion of batter, make a ball and place it into the hot oil and cook it on a low flame, till golden brown colour and crispy.

Banana Chips

         Preparation time:  30 min                                                 TYPE: veg          Cook time:  20 min         INGREDIENTS:          Raw Banana -  (remove the outer skin) --5 nos.          (Cut each of these halves into thin strips) .           Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp.            Salt to taste           Water-3 tbsp.           Oil for deep frying         PREPARATION:          In a bowl, mix turmeric powder, salt and water. Keep it aside. Heat the oil in a deep                pan,add the strips of banana(little). While frying, add the prepared mixture (1/4 tsp.),              and fry them again until the chips become golden brown and crispy.   

Vanilla Cup Cake

Then add eggs beating well after each addition. 3.   Add flour mixture little by little.  Then add vanilla essence and combine. 4.  Spoon the batter into the prepared cups, dividing evenly. 5.  Preheat oven at 180 degree Celsius and then bake it for 15min. 6.  Remove from oven and cool to room temperature 7.  vanilla cup cake is ready. Decorate with butter cream icing. Buttercream Icing: Butter-70 gm Icing sugar-140 gm Milk -2 tsp  Few drops of food colours PREPARATION: In a bowl beat butter until soft then add sugar, and milk till smooth and fluffy. Add food colour and mix well.
