Roasted Coconut Paste(Kerisik) Cubes

Preparation time:3 0 min Cook time:  1 Hr                                       VE GETARIAN Cuisine : Indian  Ingredients: Coconut grated: 4 nos Preparation:  In a deep bottom pan, heat oil add the grated coconut. Roast well till brown in colour. Ground and make paste and pour ice tray and refrigerate. Remove from tray and again refrigerate in a air tight jar.

Preparation time:  10 min Cook time:  30 min                                     NON – VE GETARIAN Cuisine : Indian INGREDIENTS: Chicken-400 g Drumstick leaves chopped-1/2 cup Coconut oil- 4 tbsp Onion chopped -1 cup Ginger chopped-1 tsp Garlic- 3(small)  Kashmiri Red chilly powder-3 tbsp Coriander powder -2 tsp Turmeric powder- ½ tsp Garam masala- 1 tsp Lime juice – 1 tsp Green chillies(slit)- 3 nos Coconut grated-1/2 cup Water-1/2 cup Salt to taste PREPARATION:  Marinate the chicken with turmeric powder (1/4 tsp) and salt. Crush the grated coconut with 1 tbsp chilly powder and garlic and keep it a side. Heat oil in a pan add chopped onion till its color changes into light brown, then add chilly powder(2 tbsp),turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder . Saute well. Strawberry kheer (payasam)

Preparation time: 10 min Cook time:  30 min                                              SWEETS Cuisine : Indian INGREDIENTS: Milk (double cream) -1 ½ lr Milk powder- ½ cup Sugar- 1 ½ cups Water-1/2 cups Sago pearls- 1cup Strawberries- 10 nos(chopped) Strawberry essence-1/2 tsp(optional) Preparation : Cook sago pearls with lots of water, then drain it well and keep it a side.  In a pan add chopped strawberries with ½ cup sugar and ½ cup water and cook it for few minutes, then add cooked sago pearls and mix well. Allow to cool. In a deep bottom pan add milk, milk powder and sugar. Stir well. Allow to cool after that add cooked sago pearls and strawberry mixture. Mix well. Yummy yummy strawberry kheer (payasam)is ready to serve.
