Spicy Indian Grilled Chicken

Almost every non-vegetarian loves grilled chicken. Grilled chicken is totally different from fried chicken. Grilled chicken uses less oil and has different techniques of cooking, so as to ensure the spices get inside.

But most Indians love grilled chicken that suits to their taste buds. So here is the recipe of Spicy Indian Grilled Chicken. Do try it out and let me know your comments. What's more? It does not have red food coloring, so it it totally safe and healthy.

Spicy Indian Grilled Chicken goes well with buttered rice or fried rice and even Naan or Rumali Roti. If you are having it with Arabic Bread, you might also need Hummus and Garlic Sauce to accompany.

    PREPARATION TIME:20 Mts
    COOKING TIME-30 Mts

Ingredients:

  • Chicken-500g
  • Kashmiri chili-  2 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic paste-2 tsp
  • Yogurt-2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
  • Garam Masala powder-1/4 tsp
  • Beetroot powder-1/2 tsp             (it is basically dried beetroot which can be used instead of red food coloring)
  • Vinegar-1tsp
  • Honey-2 tsp    (You can also use BBQ sauce instead of honey. I prefer the American Garden BBQ Honey sauce.)
  • Coriander leaves- little
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter for brushing 

Method:

Marinate the chicken with the above ingredients except honey and butter for about 4 hours in the refrigerator. Then grill the chicken for about 15 minutes.Take it out from the oven and brush it with honey and butter. Again grill the chicken is well-cooked in the inside.
