Chicken Cutlet
Chicken cutlet
Preparation time: 30 MIN NON VEGETARIAN
Cook time: Less than 10 MIN
INGREDIENTS:
350 gm chicken
(minced)
1Potato,
medium sized
1tsp. ginger
garlic paste
1 chopped
onion
1 chopped
green chilly
Breadcrumbs
– for coating
½ tsp.
white pepper
¼ turmeric powder
¼ garam
masala
Egg white
Salt to
taste
PREPARATION
1.
Cook
the potatoes and mash them. Keep it aside.
2.
Cook
the chicken in water along with salt and turmeric.
3.
In
a pan, heat some oil. Add the chopped onion and sauté until they turn soft. Add
the chopped chillies and the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
4.
Add
the cooked chicken and sauté for 5 more minutes. Add pepper powder and Garam
masala in the chicken. Turn off the flame and leave it to cool.
5.
Add
the mashed potato to the chicken mixture and mix well.
6.
Take
small portion of the mixture and roll into croquets or roll into small balls and
flatten them gently between your palms to give it shape.
7.
Beat
the egg white with a fork.
8.
Dip
each cutlet in egg white and roll in breadcrumbs, making sure that all sides
are nicely coated.
9.
Heat
some oil in pan and fry the cutlets in medium flame till they are golden brown
(you can deep fry or shallow fry the cutlets).
10.
Serve
hot with tomato ketchup.
