Pancake

Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour 3 tbsp. powdered sugar 1 1/2 tsp. Baking powder 1 pinch salt 1 Egg 2 tbsp. melted butter 2 cup milk Nutmeg(optional)   Preparation Sieve all the dry ingredients together. You may grate some nutmeg into it to remove the smell of the egg.  Beat the egg with salt using a grinder.  In a bowl, add the blended egg, milk and butter. Mix well.  Add the dry ingredients little by little while mixing.  Heat a pan. Pour the batter into the heated pan.  Once the bubbles are formed and popped, flip it.  Your pancake is ready to be served with maple syrup and butter.

INGREDIENTS 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup granulated sugar 1 cup butter 3 eggs Vanilla essence (optional) 1 tsp. baking powder 2 tbsp. fine sugar for dusting PREPARATION 1. Sift together flour, baking powder and keep it aside. 2. Whisk butter, fined sugar till smooth. Then add eggs          beating well after each addition. 3. Add flour mixture little by little.  Then add vanilla              essence and combine. 4. Spoon the batter into the prepared moulds, dividing          evenly. 5. Preheat oven at 180 OC and then bake it for 15 min. 6. Remove from oven and cool to room temperature 7. Dusting fine sugar on top of the cake.   

Dorayaki/ Dora-cake

Dorayaki Preparation time: 35 min Cook time:  10 min      NON VEGETARIAN Cuisine : Japanese INGREDIENTS: 2 eggs 100g flour ½ tsp. baking soda 50g granulated sugar 1 tbsp. honey 2 tsp. water Cooking oil For the filling: Azuki Red bean paste with skin. (or) Nutella PREPARATION 1.       Beat 2 eggs in a bowl. Add sugar and honey then mix well. Then add the flour and baking soda, water and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Heat oil in pan (low flame) and pour 2 tbsp. batter on the pan. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface then flip with a spatula. cook until brown on the other side. PREPARATION TIME: 5 MINUTES                                                                                 NON VEG INGREDIENTS: ¼ tsp dry mustard powder (without husk)/ mustard paste salt to taste 1 egg (egg white and yolk) 1 tablespoon white vinegar 1 cup vegetable oil  PREPARATION: This is a simple recipe and no cooking involved.
