Pancake

Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour 3 tbsp. powdered sugar 1 1/2 tsp. Baking powder 1 pinch salt 1 Egg 2 tbsp. melted butter 2 cup milk Nutmeg(optional)   Preparation Sieve all the dry ingredients together. You may grate some nutmeg into it to remove the smell of the egg.  Beat the egg with salt using a grinder.  In a bowl, add the blended egg, milk and butter. Mix well.  Add the dry ingredients little by little while mixing.  Heat a pan. Pour the batter into the heated pan.  Once the bubbles are formed and popped, flip it.  Your pancake is ready to be served with maple syrup and butter. 

Neer Dosa

Ingredients Raw Rice – 1 cup Grated coconut – ½ cup Cooked rice – ¼ cup Coconut water – ¼ cup Water – add as required Salt to taste Method Soak the rice for 6 hours.  Grind the rice with coconut and cooked rice with enough water and make a smooth batter.  Pour the batter in a bowl. Add salt and more water to get a thin flowing watery consistency.  Pour a ¼ cup of batter into a tawa and swirl to evenly distribute batter into a circle. Cook the Neer Dosa till done.  You can eat your Neer Dosa with coconut milk, jam and many other curries.

Preparation time:  2 mts                                               Veg  Cooking Time: 2 mts INGREDIENTS: Rice powder – 1cup Water – ½ cup Salt to taste Grated coconut – 4 tbsp Coconut shell – 1 big (with hole at bottom) Glass tumbler – 1 medium size (do not use metal tumbler) Plantain leaf – 1 small size (to place on top of coconut shell) Plantain leaf (small piece) or curry leaves- 3 nos PREPARATION: In a bowl, mix rice powder, salt, grated coconut (1 tbsp) and water. Preparation time: approx.. 8 min                                            Non veg Cook time: 5 min                     Ingredients: 1 tbs. olive oil 4 eggs 2 medium sliced capsicum(red and green) 1 medium sliced onion 1 small tomato sliced 1 tsp. vinegar ½ tsp. white pepper Salt to taste Preparation: 1.      Heat a pan. Add olive oil then sauté onion, capsicum and tomato. Mix well. 2.      Add salt, white pepper and vinegar and sauté well. 3.      Make 4 indentations in the mixture and crack eggs gently into each indentation in the mixture. 4.      Cover and cook for 3 minutes. 5.      Then drag a spatula gently through the egg whites along with the sautéd mixture, bei...
