Ingredients for Vanilla Cake: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup of granulated sugar 1 cup butter 3 eggs Vanilla essence (optional) 1 tsp. baking powder Method: Sift together the flour, baking powder and keep it aside. Whisk butter and fined sugar till smooth. Then add eggs beating well after each addition. Add the flour mixture little by little.  Then add vanilla essence and combine. Preheat oven at 180  O C and then bake it for 25 min. Remove it from the oven and cool it to room temperature. Dust it with fine sugar on top and garnish it. Vanilla cake is ready and cut into two layers. INGREDIENTS 2 cups all-purpose flour 3/4 cup granulated sugar 1 cup butter 4 eggs Vanilla essence (optional) 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda Cashew nuts (optional) For jackfruit paste: Jack fruit (grounded)- 2 1/2 cups Jaggery syrup -1 cup Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp          METHOD: In a deep bottom pan add grounded jack fruit. Stir it well for 3 minutes. Then add the jaggery syrup and stir well until it becomes thick consistency. Allow it to cool. Sift together flour, baking powder and keep it aside. 2. Whisk butter, fined sugar till smooth. Then add eggs          beating well after each addition. 3. Add flour mixture little by little.  Then add vanilla              essence and combine. 4. Spoon the batter into the prepared moulds, dividing          evenly. 5. Preheat oven at 180 OC and then bake it for 15 min. 6. Remove from oven and cool to room temperature 7. Dusting fine sugar on top of the cake.

INGREDIENTS: All-purpose flour-2 ½ cups Softened Butter-200 g Water Salt to taste Egg yolk-1(beaten) For the filling: Chicken minced-2 cups Red chilli powder-1tsp Pepper powder-1/2 tsp White sauce- 3tbsp Mayonnaise-3tbsp Salt to taste Coriander leaves chopped-1/2 cup Preparation: Heat oil in a pan and add minced chicken, red chilli powder. Ingredients: 4 large eggs 1 cup sugar 1 cup milk 1 cup oil (corn, vegetable or canola) 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp. vanilla essence 1 ½ tsp. baking powder 2 tbsp. dark cocoa powder PREPARATION 1 Combine eggs and sugar in a bowl till light and creamy. Add milk, oil and vanilla essence and beat till smooth. 2 In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and beat until the batter is smooth and the dry ingredients are completely incorporated. Do not over beat. 3 Divide the batter into two. Preparation time:20 mts Cooking time:35 mts INGREDIENTS: Dry fruits(raisins, cashewnuts, currants a nd tutti frutti)-1 ½ cups Rum or brandy-4tbsp Butter-200g Powdered sugar-200g All- purpose flour-200g Eggs-4 Baking powder-1tsp Vanilla essence-1tsp Almond essence-1/2 tsp Caramel syrup-4tbsp Salt- a pinch Spices-Cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and orange rind (powdered)-1tsp PREPARATION: Wash the dryfruits and soak them in rum or brandy and refrigerate for one week. Beat butter and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add egg (one at a time) and mix well. Sieve flour with baking powder, salt and add this into the batter and mix well. Add caramel syrup, essence, spice powder and mix well. Add dryfruits into the batter and fold it. Pour the batter into the baking dish. Pre heat the oven(140 degree) and bake it for 35 minutes.Yummy.. yummy..plum cake is ready.
